Our team is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician, that can perform an array of general building and property maintenance including plumbing, electrical, grounds keeping, mowing, and snow removal. Position Summary

You will be a support to the production chain through maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment. Prioritizing multiple tasks and communicating with the Facilities Manager along the way.

  • Repairs and maintains physical structures of the manufacturing plant and offices using any hand and power tools.
  • Painting structures and repairing woodwork.
  • Repairs plumbing fixtures.
  • Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, pipes, and electrical systems in the manufacturing plant and offices.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
  • Assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment.
  • May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. May fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Knowledge & Skills

  • General knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge of residential & commercial electricity.
  • Technical training in mechanical or electrical maintenance is preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; secondary education preferred.
  • 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Successful completion of background check
