The BGS Engineering Services team is seeking a motivated and agile Program Management Senior Manager to join its leadership team in Seattle, WA.

In this position, the Senior Program Manager will lead a team of program and project managers and supporting integrated product team functions (Service Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Intellectual Property, Customer Support, Legal, etc.) in managing and executing all tier 2 and tier 1 maintenance and customer support services activities associated with BGS Commercial portfolio. Heavy emphasis will be on finding and delivering year over year growth in support services for 3rd party passenger to freighter contracts in addition to traditional chargeable services within Boeing Commercial and Boeing Global Services such as Fleet Support, Technical Support and Services Support to Program Profit & Loss (P&L) Businesses.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Responsible to lead and deliver on the associated BGS Commercial Maintenance & Services Support business plan (Near Term and Long Term)
  • Lead a direct program management team to partner with supporting functions, to lead execution of Maintenance and Services Support across BGS’s global portfolio, including cost, schedule and team performance metrics and improvement initiatives to program baselines
  • Manage program baselines inclusive of risks, issues, and opportunities originating or affecting Maintenance and Support Services deliverables
  • Communicate integrated performance across functions and to the BGS Cabins, Modifications, and Maintenance Organization.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with interfacing customers, 3rd parties and internal stakeholders
  • Lead and development direct team members to advance their experiences, knowledge and impact with Boeing and to industry


The manager role is 100% onsite. However, the team being managed work a hybrid schedule.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Business acumen and relationship building skills to build partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers
  • Aviation domain knowledge
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Commercial Aviation Industry
  • 3+ years’ experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Management experience

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 168,300 – 227,700
