About The Role: 


This is a unique opportunity to lead the charge in selling Gentrace to enterprise customers, including some of the world's largest companies. If you have a passion for driving revenue growth, building long-lasting relationships, and scaling sales efforts in a fast-paced startup environment, this role is for you. You will be joining a company with early but strong traction, and you'll play a key role in expanding our market presence.


This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, with office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 604 Mission St.


What You’ll Do: 


  • Serve as the first GTM Lead at Gentrace, taking ownership of our sales function and building a scalable, efficient sales engine from the ground up.
  • Leverage our existing traction with leading enterprise customers, including Fortune 5 companies, to drive new business and close deals with large-scale organizations.
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of prospects, from initial lead generation through to closing, while driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Jump into several live deals from day one, taking charge of negotiations and guiding prospects through the entire sales cycle.
  • Become an expert in Gentrace's software capabilities, enabling you to effectively communicate the value of our product lines to potential customers and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Lead events and dinners with potential clients, proactively networking and building relationships to create new business opportunities.
  • Manage your sales pipeline end-to-end, including demand generation, lead qualification, trials, procurement, closing, and post-sales account management. You will also be responsible for upselling and ensuring continued growth within your customer base.


Who You Are: 


  • Ideally, you have been one of the first 1-2 Account Executives or GTM Leads hired at a startup, and are comfortable navigating the challenges of building out a sales function from scratch.
  • Strong experience selling software, preferably to developers, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to large enterprise customers, with evidence of success in closing significant deals with Fortune 500 companies or similar organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee deals from start to finish and ensure successful outcomes.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach to sales, with a passion for closing deals and driving business growth.


Compensation: 


  • Compensation is OTE-based and comes with equity, offering significant upside potential for high performers.
  • You will be joining a company that already has traction with several leading growth and public enterprise customers, including members of the Fortune 5.

Our customers range from Faire, Quizlet, Webflow, Jasper, Limitless and more, to the Fortune 5.


We work hybrid in-person in San Francisco x NYC.
