Human Resources Generalist

Actalent is hiring a Human Resources Generalist in Dallastown!

The HR Staffing Generalist will be heavily involved in duties surrounding recruitment and outreach, including attending job fairs and visiting local schools, as well as posting open positions on the website. The role involves communicating with staffing agencies to fill positions. This position is responsible for administering policies and programs covering company policies and practices, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, employee relations, performance appraisals, corrective actions, workers' compensation, and personnel actions.

Hard Skills

• 2+ years in recruitment
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Bilingual (preferred)
• ATS fluency (preferred)
• Experience with outreach (job fairs, schools, etc.)
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work closely with HR Manager and HR Assistant
• Capability to coordinate and ensure compliance in HR recordkeeping
• Skill in facilitating annual merit and performance reviews
• Proficiency in recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures
• Competence in assisting with onboarding and employee orientation
  
  

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Dallastown, Pennsylvania. Manufacturing facility located within the office section of the facility but will require movement through different areas. The dress code is business casual, and the work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (flexible start/end time).
