About the role…

ShopMy is seeking a highly motivated Director of Creator Operations to serve as the operational backbone of our Creator team. This individual will oversee and manage the operational needs of the Creator side of the business, working cross-functionally with our Creator Growth and Creator Strategy teams to optimize processes and achieve their respective goals. This role is crucial in accelerating the growth of our creator community, driving GMV expansion through strategic creator engagement, and ensuring the teams are set up for success as we scale. The ideal profile will be someone who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, with a strong track record of operational excellence and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Roles and responsibilities…

  • Provide overall direction and strategic guidance to the Creator team, including Creator Growth, Creator Strategy, Creator Education, and Creator Onboarding sub-teams
  • Define and oversee day-to-day operations and workflows, ensuring processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with company objectives
  • Establish clear goals and KPIs for each team that align with the company's broader business objectives, and monitor performance metrics on an ongoing basis.
  • Identify operational challenges and areas for improvement, developing actionable solutions to be implemented by the broader team
  • Oversee the management of our creator pipeline, tracking progress, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency
  • Develop, build, and manage reporting using the CRM (HubSpot) and other dashboards, focusing on overall funnel performance, conversion rates, and ShopMy KPIs
  • Serve as a liaison with other internal teams, including Brand Growth, Brand Success, Strategy & Operations, Growth & Marketing, and Product & Engineering
  • Contribute to scaling ShopMy through analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, improvement initiatives, and ideation of new acquisition strategies or programs

Our non negotiables….

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Consulting, Strategy & Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in operations management or growth operations within early-stage or tech companies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Ability to take on ambiguous challenges and apply structure and process to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Experience in pipeline management and understanding of lead allocation and prioritization processes
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning
  • Track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives from conception to execution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable navigating CRM systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms
  • Passion for the creator economy and a strong understanding of the creator landscape
