This position is for our client with an amazing leadership team and a vibrant culture, dedicated to taking their organization to the next level. They are seeking a transformational, strategic HR Leader to partner with them on this exciting journey.


This is an onsite position that requires employees to be in the office three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely for two days.


The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing human resources policies, programs, and services that align with the organization’s goals and objectives, fostering a high-performance culture and driving business success. The VP of HR provides strategic direction, vision, and guidance while leading the execution of HR strategies that support the organization’s mission and core values. This role offers the opportunity to be an active member of the senior leadership team in ways that shape the future of the organization and play a critical role in further developing and driving the overall human capital leadership of the company. 


Duties and Responsibilities: 


  • Own, refine, deliver, and communicate all core HR services and initiatives, including talent acquisition and retention, onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee engagement, recognition and awards programs, employee relations, training and development, DEI initiatives, corporate culture, and ensure compliance and regulations are in line with all federal, state, and local laws across all Company’s markets. 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company's vision, mission, values and supports the business needs of the organization. Translate the company’s strategic and tactical business plans and programs into HR operational goals.
  • Plan, design, and execute legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and promote a fun and energetic, metrics driven, high performing culture that builds trust, empowers, and motivates employees, emphasizing ethics, accountability, innovation, diversity, and inclusion. 
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, leveraging metrics for data-driven decision making.
  • Establish programs to identify and attract top talent within and outside the company for all career levels. Implement recruiting activities that result in the attraction and hiring of high caliber candidates.
  • Serve as a senior internal consultant for employee related issues/concerns. Coach managers on communications and team development and performance. Participate in the creation of training and development programs, along with succession planning efforts, to enhance knowledge and prepare employees for the continuing/future needs of the company.
  • Build a long-term plan for staffing and succession that provides each department with top quality employees.
  • Lead the HR related due diligence and integration of all acquisitions ensuring alignment with company values and culture, and successful onboarding of new teams.
  • Lead effective and timely communication to leadership and employees on significant, relevant changes in HR policies and practices.
  • Responsible for managing and adherence of department budget and cost-effective approach to the human resource and facilities function, proactively analyzing and managing return on investment. 
  • Lead, coach and manage HR team to drive alignment and collaboration in delivering HR objectives.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, hiring managers, critical stakeholders, and the employee population; operate as trusted advisor and subject matter expert.

  • Problem Solving - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully. 


Education, Training & Experience:


  • 10+ years of experience in human resources leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters’ Degree strongly preferred.
  • A diversified working knowledge of all human resource functions.
  • Must be a proactive leader, able to initiate and direct the work of others while personally handling a variety of situations at once. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • M&A experience.
  • Ability to lead and develop an HR team.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize demands from multiple projects.
  • Experience with developing programs and maintaining compliance for a multi-state workforce.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. 
  • High proficiency with Microsoft products.
