Job Summary:

The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) will develop strong, trusted relationships across the business in support of all talent-related activities. Partnering with the Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) and a dynamic HR team, this role will be a strong contributor to building talent practices in a fast-growing organization going through a digital transformation. Strong alignment with the business objectives is critical to the success of this role. The Human Resource Business Partner serves as a strategic partner and consultant to management on people-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship for business leaders to discuss the tactics to enhance employee productivity and retention, employee engagement, and relationships
  • Serve as an accountable person; to whom all employees and business leaders can easily reach out to matters and queries related to human resources
  • Collaborate with the CHRO and business executive leaders to interpret the HR processes, business objectives and goals, challenges, and the concerns
  • Create project plans and lead critical projects for the business and the HR team.
  • Serve as an HR integration specialist to manage the human resource responsibilities within the post-acquisition process.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations in alignment with employment practices that create a positive, ethical, and effective work environment.
  • Manage and look after the employee relation metrics, diagnose the issues, and eradicate the root cause of these challenges
  • Manages onboarding and offboarding employee processes, to not only provide seamless and supportive experiences, but track metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Assist the business executives and leaders in support of optimizing the company’s structure and framework.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal counsel and CHRO, as needed.
  • Provides counseling, coaching, mentorship, and guidance for employees as well as the leadership to target better performance
  • Develops and researches HR strategies and policies to improve them and align them with the business needs
  • As needed, implement corporate training initiatives. Facilitate training sessions.
  • Champion change management initiatives and serve as a role model for change in the organization.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to identify and attract top talent; identify opportunities for internal talent mobility
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Minimum Travel Requirement: 10%

  • Strong knowledge of HR-related state and federal laws and regulations (e.g. FMLA, ADA, EEO, etc.)
  • Model IT Solutions values and behaviors to build and sustain a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment
  • Ability to think strategically and translate concepts into actionable items.
  • Proven ability to influence decision making; courage to make tough decisions.
  • Must possess consultative style and approach with proven ability to develop credible relationships.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Experience

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional HR experience required, with an emphasis on business partnerships, employee experience, employee relationships, and change management
  • Experience in the technology industry required

Compensation Package

This role is eligible for $75-88k base salary (commensurate on factors including but not limited to experience and location) + bonus opportunity.
