Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist for one of our best clients in the Manchester PA area. Our client is a global leader in the beauty industry by offering every person around the world the best of beauty in terms of quality, efficacy, safety, sincerity and responsibility to satisfy all beauty needs and desires in their infinite diversity.

This person supports Human Resources initiatives and works with functional groups to help attract, recruit, develop, train, motivate, and engage employees while aligning with the overall business strategy.

Pay: Starting hourly rate is $28.50/hr with room for growth

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Day in the Life-

• Act as an HR Business Partner to support junior level employees (interns)
• Build employee relationships and coordinate informal and formal training as needed
• Recruit and onboard all non-exempt positions
• Champion work environment vision through relationships with employees, and providing advice and coaching to employees
• Work with Total Rewards to evaluate employee total rewards packages and support pay recommendations consistent with policy guidelines
• Interpret, apply and monitor HR policy and program opportunities to support line operations
• Act as interface between Corporate and brand HR teams on all corporate initiatives
• Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of Employment Law and concepts and application thereof
• Prepare and coordinate all aspects of data gather and compilation of government programs, including AAP, EEOC, etc.

Keys to Success -

• Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Understanding of employment laws and statutes pertaining to equal opportunity employment, ADA, FMLA, OFCCP, Wage and Hour, WARN, Employee Agreements, etc.
• General knowledge of P&L, including budget process
