As the Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager, your role is strategic and executional, creative and data-driven — and you’ll directly impact how we bring personal and professional growth to our members.

This critical role on the Member Growth Marketing team will own and optimize end-to-end member lifecycle communications to engage members throughout their BetterUp journey. You’ll develop multi-channel strategies to drive member engagement aligned to member outcomes, lead product-led growth initiatives, and build a platform-grade member lifecycle marketing experience.

Beyond lifecycle marketing expertise and effective cross-functional collaboration skills, ability to develop compelling storytelling, deliver campaigns that add value at every touchpoint to engage members authentically, and achieve growth through hypothesis-driven experimentation are key skills to succeed in this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and optimize global, end-to-end member lifecycle marketing journeys to increase member engagement for enterprise/B2B2C products
  • Partner with product and marketing operations to run experiments along the member journey, using multi-channel communications and effective storytelling to drive member activation, engagement, and retention
  • Collaborate with marketing client services to launch member campaigns aligned to customer-specific and scaled member outcomes goals
  • Develop and pilot member lifecycle communications journeys for new products and iniatiives, ensuring marketing is on pace with product development to reduce funnel dropoff
  • As a member communications SME, consult cross-functional teams on best practices, identify opportunities to mature and scale member lifecycle campaigns, and serve as a key stakeholder for member product marketing initiatives
  • Manage KPIs, own campaign performance, and use data and insights to build and refine personalized member experiences
  • Drive strategic initiatives focused on member growth, including campaign and content development, marketing insights, new channels, and systems optimization

  • 5+ years relevant experience (lifecycle marketing, campaign management, growth marketing) with a focus on B2C or B2B2C audiences
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to effectively collaborate and communication cross-functionally as part of a remote team
  • Experience copywriting, designing, and leading creative development for consumer-facing marketing campaigns.
  • Experience ideating and leading growth marketing and/or lifecycle marketing initiatives, personalization, and marketing research
  • Self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to apply expertise and learnings to new environments with new constraints
  • Experience building repeatable processes that scale, improving operations or driving change management a plus
  • Bonus: Experience with JIRA, Braze, Salesforce, Looker, Amplitude a plus, startup experience, member growth marketing experience

At BetterUp, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, residence location, as well as market indicators. The range below is representative of base salary only and does not include equity, sales bonus plans (when applicable) and benefits. This range may be modified in the future.

The base salary range for this role is $127,000 – $218,000.

If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is:

$146,000 – $218,000: New York City

$127,000 – $190,000: Albany, Buffalo, Nassau, Newburgh, Rochester, Syracuse
