What you will do:

  • Dispute Management: Handle a wide range of disputes, including but not limited to contractual disputes, consumer complaints, regulatory challenges, and litigation across different jurisdictions.
  • Competition Law: Provide expert advice and representation on competition law matters, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects, including ESG initiatives, employment law issues, and corporate deals, providing legal guidance and support as needed.
  • Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies to minimize risk and ensure favorable outcomes in disputes.
  • Cross-Border Coordination: Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders across various countries to ensure cohesive and effective dispute resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations in all operating regions, advising the company on necessary compliance measures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and settlement agreements. Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive advice to mitigate them.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in dispute resolution, preferably with a background in competition law and cross-border legal issues. Experience in the ride-hailing or tech industry is a plus but not a deal-breaker.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required, additional languages are a plus.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel sometimes as needed to manage issues in various countries and see the world.
