Summary
The Director of Sales will be responsible for Overseeing the development of professional relationships with shippers and brokers to increase freight volume.
Key Activities
- Directing daily consultative sales activities; ensuing a well-organized pipeline of clients.
- Developing strategic plans and preparing budgets.
- Developing sales training program.
- Ensuring the growth of the company's sales.
- Staying on top of emerging trends; adjusting strategies appropriately.
- Ensuring a close collaboration with Operations team to maintain integrity of delivery services.
- Overseeing effective negotiating on pricing, contracts, and terms.
- Developing sales reports and working closely with the executive leadership team.
- Ensuring long-term mutually beneficial partnerships.
Preferred Skills
- Proven ability to successfully direct sales and produce quality results.
- Experience in developing a sales program.
- High level leadership skills.
Educations & Experience
- 7-10 years of sales experience that includes management.
- Trucking industry experience.
