Director of Business Development

Growing multi-year Healthcare Client looking for a Director of Business Development to oversee the dept.

This role is open due to growth, as the previous person has been promoted. The ideal candidate will direct the business development activities and drive the sales business. This role oversees 15 business development representatives across the Eastern Seaboard.

This BD department plays a key role in the generation & retention of business. This individual will also be responsible for working closely with Operations (Marketing / Site Directors) to ensure communication lines are open / everyone is on the same page.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategy and operations Business Development team directly
• Hire / Train Business Development Reps as needed.
• Manage sales functions of the business
• Provide feedback to company leadership progress / areas of opportunity
• Travel: 25% (Maryland, Florida, Texas)
• Work collaboratively with various operational focused depts within the org

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ Years of Successful Business Development within the Healthcare Industry
• 3+ Years of Successful Team Development (Hiring / Training)
• Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
