About The Team

DoorDash is revolutionizing the delivery experience for merchants and customers by offering the next generation of fulfillment services. We’re looking for someone to join the Drive - Real Estate team to rapidly scale our next big bet.

About The Role

You will report into the Head of Drive - Real Estate in our Drive organization. We expect this role to be hybrid with some time in-office and some time remote.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

  • Own sourcing, negotiation, execution and implementation of all real estate transactions, including leases, licenses, inter-company real estate agreements, MSAs, and related agreements.
  • Partner with the Head of Drive - Real Estate to execute the long term real estate plan, and own execution and implementation of interim short term solutions.
  • Coordinate closely with internal partners in Legal, Facilities + Construction, Business Development, Finance and Strategy + Operations.
  • Evaluate and refine transaction standards for all Drive real estate categories to ensure consistency across the portfolio.

We’re Excited About You Because…

  • You have 7+ years experience sourcing, negotiating, closing and implementing leases, purchase and sales, build-outs, and decommissions.
  • You know what it takes to bring a site from an idea to first day of business, and have experience working with internal and external stakeholders to make that happen.
  • You have experience across multiple asset classes, with a focus on warehouse and industrial.
  • You have experience working in a fast paced environment, know how to scale growth, can be flexible when needed, and also prioritize stability.
  • You are committed to understanding all aspects of the business lines that will function in the sites you oversee.
  • You are a relentless problem solver, curious, collaborative, detail oriented.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
