Security Specialist
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the US Air Force, Space Force, and US Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges
Job Summary - Essential Functions/Duties
Provide senior level administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff.
Associate's Degree or equivalent military or technical school and 5 years specifically related work experience in the personnel security field, complemented by formal training such as successful completion of the Industrial Security Management Course. Must be very knowledgeable with the rules and regulations of the NISPOM pertaining to all aspects of Personnel Security. Must have working knowledge of site-specific procedures and security requirements. The position requires a high degree of accuracy pertaining to all aspects of Personnel Security. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must be proficient operating personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and graphics software, and possess data base management experience. Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance and possess a current State issued driver's license.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves work typical of an office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for routine communications. Must maintain constant mental alertness.

Job Summary - Essential Functions/Duties
Provide senior level administrative and personnel security support to the unit manager and security staff.
- Provide support to other SAP personnel security and administrative duties to include: access/billet management, eligibility, personal data reporting and database management.
- Inspect Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF), building spaces, classified material repositories, and classified equipment (e.g. safes) to ensure appropriate standards and adequate level of physical security is maintained.
- Create and process new incoming Program Access Request (PAR) packages by quality-reviewing the PAR.
- Route PAR for necessary approvals/signatures, tracking via the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) database.
- Update the JADE database with all incoming Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA) and Debriefing Statements; as well as foreign travel, security violations, derogatory information, etc.
- Assist customers as to the status of PAR packages; i.e., metrics reporting, checking the database as to status, and/or checking pending folders, reciprocity files, and individual personnel folders.
- Verify program access in support of multi-level programs and briefings.
- Process and track visit certifications for collateral, SAP and SCI access.
- Coordinate signatures for approval, may result in local travel.
- Schedules initial, periodic, exit briefings, and notifies supervisor and employee of schedule.
- Facilitates security briefings for individuals/groups as required.
- Performs other related tasks as directed.
- Experience with Special Access Programs and Sensitive Compartmented Information.
- Working knowledge of JADE and Joint Personnel Adjudicative Systems (JPAS)/Defense Information Security System (DISS) databases.
