This position reports to

Vice President of US Motion Services

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a revenue-driving sales organization, prioritizing service agreements and electrical powertrain solutions while developing the continued growth of our large base/transactional services. Each day, you will ensure profitable achievement of qualitative and quantitative targets related to Life Cycle Management (LCM) and service products and solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by determining account and acquisition plans to support growth. The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the Motion - Services. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Spearheading the continuing efforts of your direct sales reps towards prioritizing service agreements and promoting electrical powertrain modernization initiatives. This includes sales training, progressing sales goals for both direct and indirect teams, and ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.
  • Crafting a comprehensive sales plan, including account packages, to achieve the annual revenue targets. This strategy should encompass both direct and channel sales efforts, with a focus on service agreements and electrical powertrain modernization. Developing clear goals, performance metrics, and Salesforce tracking for the indirect distribution channel team to ensure alignment with your overall strategy.
  • Providing effective leadership and coaching to your team of +20 inside and outside sales representatives. This includes integrating the management of your indirect distribution channel team, through dedicated channel managers within your reports. Implementing programs to continuously improve performance for both direct and indirect teams, aligned with the new sales focus.
  • Working closely with Offer Management, Delivery, Business Operations, Communications, PMO and other BU teams. The aim is to simplify the sales offering by ensuring clear value propositions and streamlined customer understanding of your products or services. Include the indirect distribution channel team in these collaborations to ensure a unified approach across all sales channels.
  • Overseeing successful customer onboarding and delivery processes. This includes establishing clear communication channels, setting expectations, and working with other departments to guarantee exceptional customer service, ultimately maximizing customer satisfaction and retention. Ensuring your indirect distribution channel team is equipped to deliver the same high level of customer service as your direct sales force. Qualifications For The Role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business required.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience selling through a distributorship network and managing channel partners.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $159,000 and $265,000 annually and is bonus eligible. myBenefitsABB.com
