About the job:

CAVA Robotics International helps hospitals capture large robotic program cost savings while rapidly building a robotic program’s net margin, clinical quality, efficiency, and growth. Following an initial analysis of the status of a hospital program, CAVA Robotics utilizes peer-to-peer relationships to evaluate and educate clients. Experienced robotic surgeons work with newer low-volume surgeons using video analysis with in-person clinical feedback. We join program committee meetings providing guidance on robotic operational and clinical / quality best practice benchmarks. CAVA OR crew supports staff at CAVA client hospitals with efficiency training and variation reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assessment of robotic surgeons and OR team members

- Participation in client robotic surgery committee meetings

- Present CAVA clinical and financial data analysis

- Client education activities: clinical topics and journal review topics

- Video case reviews

Minimum Requirements:

- Board certified in Urology, colorectal surgery, or General Surgery (with oncology experience) preferred

- Minimum 1,000 robotic cases

- At least three years of robotic experience on the Xi platform

- Prior proctor experience

- Performance metrics in top quartile based on comparison to Intuitive Surgical benchmarks

- Strong ability to communicate / build relationships with peers and C-suite

Nice to have:

- Prior chair of a hospital robotic surgery committee

- Practice at national top 10th percentile based on comparison to Intuitive Surgical benchmarks
