Role:
The Head of Agent Relations is responsible for developing and executing strategies that support the success of the Rogers Healy and Associates agents. The primary responsibilities within the role are agent training and support. The position focuses on providing agents with the most robust training, tools, technology, and resources to be successful agents. This includes coordinating, developing, and managing agent training, as well as real estate support and real estate-centric systems and platforms to increase agents’ knowledge, productivity, job satisfaction, and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive agent training program, including onboarding, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external real estate industry experts to organize and plan an annual agent training calendar.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging our agents to seek new opportunities for professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our agent engagement strategies are innovative and effective.
- Stay current on Texas Real Estate Commission, Texas Realtors, and local board policies and laws; create a communication plan to distribute the latest information to the company.
- Design and conduct surveys to gauge the overall sentiment of agent training within the brokerage; develop and implement training that addresses those sentiments.
- Maintain and develop training and resources within our online learning management software.
- Address real estate-related contract and transaction questions from agents as they arise.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to promote training events and execute new agent gatherings.
- Work closely with our agents to provide support, helping them to develop and achieve their career goals and ensure they have the resources they need to succeed.
- Field agent questions regarding real estate technology platforms.
- Provide support to the Director of Agent Success.
- Proactively take on additional projects to enhance agent performance.
- Project a positive image of the organization to employees, agents, clients, industry, and the community.
Required skills/abilities:
- At least 5 years of experience in the real estate industry with a background in agent relations, coaching, or support a plus.
- Active Texas real estate license.
- Ability to be forward-thinking and creative with high moral standards.
- Ability to take a hands-on approach with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand complex problems and clearly present effective solutions.
- Extremely organized.
- Desire to proactively anticipate potential challenges and preemptively develop effective solutions.
- Highly adaptable to technological advancements and the changing landscape of the real estate industry overall.
