Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking highly qualified candidates to fill this amazing opportunity on for the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA).

Peraton will deliver a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and it's AORs. Capabilities include using air, maritime, ground, and space-based platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. Our team will provide support to continuously evolve and leverage the latest technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure platforms and intelligence operations are optimized to support the SOCPAC missions.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Training/Exercise Coordinator to support units in the SOCPAC Area of Responsibility (AOR). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military training and exercise support, specifically focused on rigorous and realistic training scenarios tailored to jungle, archipelagic, arctic, and mountainous terrains. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing training capabilities across the SOCPAC AOR, ensuring that all training objectives are met and that exercises are conducted in full compliance with the requirements of both U.S. military and partner nations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive training exercises for SOCPAC and Multinational Forces.
  • Ensure that all exercises are planned with clear objectives, timelines, and resource requirements specific to challenging terrains.
  • Provide expertise in the integration of virtual training domains to simulate realistic scenarios, implement responsive feedback mechanisms, and refine mission command capabilities and procedures during training exercises.
  • Enhance training exercises by supporting SOCPAC rotations with appropriate SIMS/STIMS, simulating larger operations within the Area of Operations (AO).
  • Provide recommendations for adjusting scenarios according to established timelines, ensuring alignment with SOCPAC exercise objectives and mission requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner nation representatives, coordinating and integrating virtual and constructive capabilities with overall rotational scenarios. Ensure that all partner nation training requirements and objectives are clearly communicated and met.
  • Brief senior leadership on training and exercise plans, provide updates on units performing as OPFOR, Exercise Control and Higher Control functions, and represent the organization at required meetings and briefings.
  • Participate in the development of creative and innovative techniques for the successful accomplishment of SOCPAC exercise control and data collection efforts.
  • Recommend the inclusion of new systems, technologies, and methodologies to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Identify emerging capabilities to support the SOCPAC mission, including advising on the integration of Contractors engaged in altering or enhancing SOCPAC-IS capabilities.
  • Support Live Environment, Virtual, and War-Gaming preparation for upcoming training and exercises, including the inclusion of new technologies and adjustments to training methodologies.
  • Participate in post-exercise evaluations, gather feedback from participants, and make continuous improvements to future exercises based on collected data and insights.
  • Provide training and support to instructors and trainers on how to effectively deliver the curriculum.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in planning and exercise support to U.S. Military forces. Experience supporting USSOCOM units is a plus..
  • Experience integrating Simulators into live environment training, both operationally and technically.
  • Experience implementing Joint Exercise plans.
  • Familiarity with SOCPAC training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations.
  • Previous experience as an Observer/Controller-Trainer (OC/T) at NTC, JRTC, JMRC, or MCTP is desired.
  • Familiarity with the Indo-Pacific AO is desired.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

  • Expertise in training needs assessment, curriculum development, instructional design, and evaluation.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and inclusive training methodologies.
  • Proficiency in managing and enhancing content for technical manuals, training materials, and software documentation.
  • Knowledge of how instructional strategy integrates with change management to support the organization's mission
  • Ability to work autonomously and within cross-functional teams.

Working Conditions:

  • Defined work location office-based work.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training sessions or meetings.
