About the Cristo Rey Network

The Cristo Rey Network is the largest network of high schools in the country enrolling only low-income youth. Comprised of 40 Catholic, college preparatory schools serving more than 12,300 students across 24 states, the Cristo Rey Network delivers a distinctive approach to inner-city education to equip students with the knowledge, character, and skills to transform their lives. From freshman year, Cristo Rey schools establish a culture of high expectations by blending rigorous academics, four years of professional work experience through the Corporate Work Study Program, Catholic educational values, and support for students to and through college. The impact is clear: Cristo Rey graduates enroll and graduate from college at twice the rate of their low-income high school graduates.

The Corporate Work Study (CWS) program at each school ensures that students have a job to report to all four years of high school, and that they receive the professional skill training to be successful. The Cristo Rey Network CWS team supports the work being done in each school including: supporting a sales culture, developing student curriculum and training, providing operations guidance and professional development for Cristo Rey school CWS leaders and their teams.

Position Summary

The Cristo Rey Network seeks a Project Manager, Corporate Work Study who will be an

integral part of our national Corporate Work Study Program(CWSP) team. The Manager

will be responsible for working collaboratively with the national CWS team, cross-

functionally with national office staff, and with our national network of schools to

ensure programs, resources and professional development are delivered with

excellence. This individual will report directly to the Associate Director, CWS and will be

accountable for ensuring best practices as well as communication, resources and

marketing materials supporting Corporate Work Study are available to over 350 CWS

staff across the country, while also ensuring support for internal programmatic efforts.

This position is based at the Cristo Rey Network national office in downtown Chicago,

IL.

What You’ll Do

● Develop and deliver direct support and training to members of Corporate Work Study

Teams across the network

○ Provide and maintain relevant resources and tools

○ Communicate and engage with schools regularly via internal social platform

and internal website

● Develop and maintain a curriculum and framework to enhance student professional

skill development

● Manage and support school teams in utilizing key compliance tools including;

Salesforce, LawLogix, Child Labor Laws

● Ensure program resources are executed with excellence

○ Support Workforce Development program design and implementation

○ Research and data analysis to support project goals

○ Manage project timelines

○ Collaborate with national staff to ensure CWS materials include most recent

data and information is shared

○ Work directly with the Chief Corporate Program Officer on key projects &

efforts

○ Every member of the Network national office team exists to serve the staff

and students at our schools consistent with the mission of the Cristo Rey

Network. The Project Manager of Corporate Work Study is responsible for

displaying and modeling best-in-class service.

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree required

● Alignment with the Cristo Rey mission

● Proficiency with Google office products including website

● Strong written and verbal communication

● Demonstrated meeting facilitation and presentation skills

● Experience designing presentations using design resources such as Canva &

Powerpoint

● Some vendor management experience

● Demonstrated customer service & support skills

● Demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment

● Experience building internal and external relationships

● Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

● Salesforce user experience preferred

● Program development or project management preferred

● Deep desire to be a collaborative team member

● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly growing entrepreneurial organization

● Ability to travel to Cristo Rey Network schools and Cristo Rey Network meetings
