About The Role
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our Mid-Market Managed Account Sales Team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving new growth and safeguarding revenue for a portfolio of assigned customers within the QuickBooks Digital Ecosystem.
Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand their business needs across multiple locations, showcasing our core capabilities, and recommending the best solutions to meet their goals. Collaboration with our support partners and utilizing available resources will be key to achieving your objectives and satisfying customer needs.
This is a critical role in our mission to transform the Small Business Mid-Market. The position is remote, with up to 30% travel required.
What You'll Bring
Experience: 5+ years in software or technology sales and corporate account management.
Territory Management: Proven track record managing accounts across multiple states and industries.
SaaS Experience: Familiarity with SaaS solutions for multi-location businesses with annual revenues of $25M+.
Sales Skills: Expertise in selling SaaS platforms, with a background in negotiating rates and terms.
Business Acumen: High emotional and intellectual intelligence, with the ability to innovate and iterate.
Additional Skills: Experience with accounting, ERP, or financial management software is a plus, but not required.
Pipeline Management: Demonstrated ability to manage a large pipeline using Salesforce and support multiple partners through the sales process.
Sales Methodologies: Experience with methodologies such as Challenger, SPIN, Solution, or Sandler.
Client Management: Understanding of the client management lifecycle and ability to work well within a team of stakeholders, including Sales Engineers, Solution Specialists, Customer Success teams, and Sales Operations.
Education: Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred.

Stakeholder Utilization: Use key stakeholders to influence the buying process and navigate complex sales.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Leverage all resources to support business relationship growth and efficient deal closure.
Metrics of Success: Focus on achieving quota attainment, close rates, pipeline velocity, and retention improvements.
