Vice President, Corporate Controller


Are you an experienced accounting leader with publicly traded multi-location company experience who is looking for a new challenge? LHH is currently partnering with a Healthcare company in their search for an Accounting VP!


This role provides the opportunity to manage a large team of high performing individuals, manage the operations of the accounting department, lead internal business controls and compliance initiatives, all from the comfort of your own home! Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting department operations, strategic planning, controls, and compliance
  • Lead monthly/annual close and facilitate audit
  • Regulatory reporting including SEC, tax, and other filings
  • Complete financial reporting, analysis, and partner with other members of executive leadership
  • Oversee cash management and treasury operations
  • Lead and develop a large team of high performing accountants
  • Manage, improve, and streamline financial systems, ERP systems, and operational processes
  • Risk management assessment and other directional initiatives
  • Ad-hoc duties as the company may require


Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of accounting leadership with proven ability to lead and upskill a large team
  • Multi-location industry experience (preferably within the healthcare industry) required
  • Publicly traded company experience (preferably in an environment of rapid growth and scaling revenue into the hundreds of millions/billions) required
  • Public accounting background (Big 4 or National CPA firm) required


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution required
  • Active CPA designation required


Skills

  • Proficiency in NetSuite highly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. Index Match, PivotTable, XLOOKUP, VBA, Macros, etc.)
  • Experience facilitating audit and leading month-end close
  • Demonstrated operational knowledge as it relates to GAAP and SOX
  • Demonstrated operational understanding of ASC 718 and ASC 842


Compensation: $200,000 - $260,000 per year DOE
