GoodVets is looking to hire a Director of Finance to accelerate its growth strategy and support the expansion and scale of the company. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance will be responsible for leading and supporting the foundation of GoodVets’ FP&A function and its organizational growth built on data-driven analysis and financial forecasting. The Impact You Will Have Every Day

• Assist in creating analyses around business issues, financial performance, and projections to support the CFO and ELT in making critical business decisions.
• Lead annual budget process and subsequent intra-year forecasting with direction from the CFO to project financial performance and set benchmarks.
• Assess ROI of capital projects and new site development.
• Evaluate additional financial and business analytical tools and determine if there’s a business case for implementation.
• Optimize ERP system for efficient close process and reporting, in addition to identifying and scoping add-ons (inventory management, leases, etc.) to the system.
• Create a strategic data lake combining data from PMS, ERP, and HRIS for consolidated data and analytics platform.
• Lead other areas of finance including risk management (insurance programs), tax, and treasury optimization.
• Lead development of finance materials for board, ELT, and companywide presentations.
• Be a strategic thought partner to the CFO and other members of the ELT to identify, evaluate, and discuss growth initiatives.
  
  

What We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, and data analytics.
• Ability to work within financial systems to optimize reporting and prepare executive-level reporting outputs.
• Track record of integrity, self-motivation, and cross-functional collaboration required.
• Good communication and presentation skills are required.
