In 2021 we had a successful $30 million Series A funding round, in 2022 we became the fastest DNS security tool on the planet and acquired the privacy-focused VPN Guardian, and in 2023 we extended our Series A by $15M and added more global points of presence to our anycast network!

As we continue our product-fueled growth by adding new features and broadening our solution to meet the needs of the global market, it's clear there's a missing piece. That's where you come in!

We are looking for a Director of Sales who will be responsible for managing the SMB and Enterprise Sales Teams. The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing a sales team, reporting the sales forecast, and assisting the sales reps in their sales cycles. They will also own the overall revenue responsibilities for this team. This candidate will have a strong track record for building high-performing sales teams. Also, they will be expected to work cross-departmentally with our marketing, sales development, and customer success teams to generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. This role will report to the SVP, Global Sales.

This is a full-time remote role, and is open to candidates in the United States and Canada, with a preference for candidates located in the Central or Eastern time zones.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading a B2B SaaS Sales teams
  • Current or very recent Cybersecurity SaaS Sales experience
  • Experience as an enterprise software sales executive selling to a corporate IT audience.
  • Exceptional leadership and proven success leading sales teams.
  • Classic training in a proven sales methodology (i.e., Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, Sandler, or similar).
  • Experience working with Channel Partners
  • Ability to work and sell in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, relationship-building skills, and a focus on a high level of customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle, adapt, and overcome change
  • Ability to travel 25% or more of the time to tradeshows and industry/customer events in the United States and Canada

At DNSFilter You Will:

  • Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan.
  • Maintain and expand customer base by working with the Enterprise Account Executives and Commercial Account Executives on sales opportunities.
  • Ensure sales teams are keeping the necessary pace with pipeline and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain an accurate forecast for the sales pipeline.
  • Refine go-to-market strategy and establish and develop the sales team.
  • Support/close deals with the Enterprise Account Executives and Commercials Account Executives.
  • Consistently meet/exceed objectives and sales targets.
  • Travel 25% or more of the time to tradeshows and industry/customer events in the United States and Canada

The hiring base pay is dependent upon many factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and/or geographic location. As a fully remote company, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. and global geographic markets. We pay differently based on those defined markets.
