Sr. Accountant

ColourPop is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing the duties listed below and assisting the Accounting Department as directed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to follow instructions, pay attention to details and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactions
• Compiles and analyzes account information
• Manages general ledger including account set-up and posting functions.
• Support month-end and year-end close including management of tasks maintained in closing checklist
• Prepare month-end billings recording revenue in accordance with GAAP.
• Upload all billings into third-party EDI system(s) as required
• Prepare month-end COGS entries associated with products sold
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Prepare month end reconciliations including subledgers to general ledger
• Review internal financial statements and investigate variances to forecasts
• Support sales & use tax audits as needed.
• Evaluate and continually improve internal controls and procedures
• Provide supporting documentation for audits
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
• Other duties may be assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA track preferred
• 5 years or more general accounting experience required
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting procedures and policies
• Microsoft Dynamics Navision or comparable accounting software experience preferred
• Experience with data integration between systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to learn third-party systems used in daily operations
  
  

The annual salary range for this position is $80k-$85k. ColourPop also offers a discretionary annual bonus and a competitive benefits package including vacation time, health benefits, 401k + 100% match, paid holidays, and more.
