Overview

Sedgwick is a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk, benefits and integrated business solutions. We offer a broad range of resources tailored to our clients' specific needs in casualty, property, marine, benefits and other lines. Our group health third-party administration (TPA) services help employers manage their health plans and reduce costs, while ensuring quality care for their employees. We are looking for a senior vice president (SVP) to lead our group health TPA operations, build and grow our business, and drive innovation and excellence in our solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for the group health TPA business unit, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand the group health TPA market share, revenue, and profitability, while maintaining high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff, ensuring alignment with the company's vision, mission, values, and goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects, partners, vendors, and industry associations, representing Sedgwick as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the group health TPA solutions, leveraging technology, data, analytics, and best practices to enhance service delivery, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards, as well as adherence to Sedgwick's quality and risk management protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in group health TPA, health insurance, or managed care industry, with proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong business acumen, financial management, and analytical skills, with ability to develop and execute sound business strategies and plans.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-building skills, with ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Highly innovative, creative, and adaptable, with ability to embrace change and drive transformation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $166,000-$210,000. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
