Responsibilities

  • Business Process Lead for Procurement Activities: Serve as the Sourcing Process Data Lead and Subject Matter Expert and drive best-in-class business processes and acumen for successful ERP implementation.
  • Consulting and Escalation Support: Act as the SAP Procurement and ASL Champion, providing consulting and escalation support.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to the Project Team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate execution of SAP execution and Procurement processes.
  • Training: Engage with Site Procurement Leads to provide SAP training.
  • Program Sessions: Attend all Project program sessions as the Procurement Lead.
  • Ensure all timelines and milestones for the project are met.
  • Consistency in Processes: Lead consistent site and global ways of working.
  • Change Management: Serve as the designated Change Champion for the Procurement workstream, owning all related change management activities.
  • Data Migration Support: Support and lead all discussions on data migration and ensuring data compliance from one ERP System to the other.
  • Data Testing: Act as the designated POC for Procurement User Acceptance Testing ensuring the right strategy and data compliance in applied.
  • Update, create, and approve all necessary UAT test scripts.
  • DCT Verification and Validation: Approve Site Procurement Data Load Files in support of simulated to Production data Loads.
  • Cutover Planning and Post Go-Live Support: Lead/ Support cutover planning from Oracle to SAP and post go-live activities.
  • Procurement Data Ownership: Ensure alignment on sourcing strategy, including lead times, pricing, vendor IDs, UPOM, AUOM, etc.
  • Vendor Setup: Manage vendor setup from one ERP System to another ERP Systems (i.e., Oracle to SAP).
  • Dual Sourcing Setup: When applicable, lead the material dual sourcing strategy and Vendor Maintenance.
  • Approved Supplier List and Material Qualification Support: Lead discussion on creating and Maintaining the Approved Supplier List and drive compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 -5 years of multi-disciplined procurement experience.
  • Experience with direct procurement preferred.
  • Preferred experience in a technical, operational, or business role within the relevant industry.
  • Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience in SAP implementation and deployment in Procurement & Supply Planning is highly preferred.
  • Strong Proficiency with SAP and/or other ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience using Infinity desired.
  • Demonstrated independence with minimal supervision from senior management.
  • Relevant industry certifications (CPM/CPSM/CSCP/CPIM) are preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as a critical member of Project Team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate at multiple levels within the company.
  • Proactive, creative, and analytic approach to continuous improvement in procurement services.
  • Demonstrated high degree of independence, requiring minimal supervision from senior management.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP, sourcing, and SAP migrations, along with a strong attention to detail and time management skills

Synectics offers all employees who are 21 years of age or older the opportunity to invest in the 401(k) Plan on the first enrollment date that is at least 30 days after employment begins. Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
