THE ROLE

Pangaea is hiring an E-commerce Manager to join the Pangaea Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Ecommerce, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter focused on improving the on site experience and merchandising for Pangaea’s two brands. This person will have an analytical yet creative approach to driving e-commerce strategies and contributing to the growth of our overall business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize website performance, focusing on customer journey, merchandising and improving overall site metrics
  • Help define onsite strategy to convey the most relevant selling features and product benefits.
  • Coordinate with engineering and senior marketing teams around new feature and page prioritization. Develop and manage the visual merchandising strategy for all PDPs, PLPs, and landing pages.
  • Work with engineering and technical teams to design A/B tests to validate marketing and sales hypotheses.
  • Oversee site UX, customer journey and merchandising strategy. pages including PDP, PLP, homepage & landing pages.
  • Comfortable analyzing page site metrics and providing strong insight into customer behavior. Brief company leaders and design strategies based on these metrics.
  • Collaborate and manage relationships with SEO agencies to maintain and execute site updates for optimal search engine optimization
  • Partner with various internal departments such as Creative, Operations, Growth and Customer Support to optimize the entire customer’s journey and align with all stakeholders.
  • Present website roadmap and ongoing results to company leaders

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a DTC focused brand.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to think innovatively, move quickly on new opportunities and embrace a start-up mentality
  • Experience with and passion for the health, beauty, wellness and/or personal care space
  • Experience with subscription or retention focused business

Compensation And Benefits

The reasonably estimated annual base salary for this role ranges from $90,000 - $100,000 and will include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and location. Details of participation in benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

  • Health insurance: Pangaea offers medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. Out of three amazing medical plans, we cover 100% for the first plan for employees and 90% of the monthly premium for two higher coverage plans. We also provide 75% of the monthly premium for family coverage.
  • 401(k) matching: After a 3-month waiting period, Pangaea will match up to 4% of the employee's elected contribution to their retirement plan.
  • Time off: Pangaea recognizes 14 paid holidays per year. We also have 6 additional “Pangaea Fridays” throughout the year where employees can get a head start on their weekend and take the whole day off. Lastly, we have a flexible time off policy and trust our employees to take vacation when they need it!
  • Staff discount: All staff members are given $100 of credit per month to use on Pangaea products so that they can try, own (and love!) all the products we sell.
