Job Details

Facility Supervisor Job Description

• Oversee and manage tenant improvement (TI) projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
• Source, evaluate, and select contractors and vendors for various facility projects.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure that all work performed meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Monitor contractor performance and resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the project.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all facility equipment and systems.
• Schedule and conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Oversee daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Manage the maintenance and repair of building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
• Ensure that all facility operations comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and manage the facility budget, including expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and capital projects.
• Track and report on budget performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance and facility staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with vendors to optimize facility operations.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for the facility.
• Coordinate and conduct regular emergency drills to ensure readiness for various scenarios.
• Respond to facility emergencies and incidents, coordinating with internal and external resources as needed.
