Explore a rewarding career opportunity with a highly respected procurement organization in New England. We are currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager who will play a crucial role in identifying strategic sources for competitive market products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, research, and recommend strategic sources for market products and services at competitive prices.
Participate in strategic supplier meetings to ensure compliance and exceptional member service.
Manage full life-cycle bid processes including supplier research and benchmarking, proposal evaluation, contract selection, and final award recommendations.
Develop and manage supplier contracts for member organizations.
Oversee contract development and management processes for indirect category portfolios.
Utilize data analysis and trends to develop and implement procurement initiatives that enhance contract portfolio value.
Conduct benchmarking research to maintain competitiveness of assigned contracts.
Required Experience And Qualifications
Minimum five years of experience in sourcing, category management, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
Proficiency in full life-cycle procurement processes including competitive bids, RFPs, RFQs, supplier selection, and contract management for indirect categories.
Experience in collaborative procurement environments and exposure to diverse sourcing categories.
Familiarity with G.L. Ch30B is desirable.
Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official Program (MCPPO) certification is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong in Excel and Access.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
