Associate Brand Manager

Location: Remote with requirement to travel for business needs

The Associate Brand Manager is a key contributor, leading and supporting various brand building initiatives to drive brand awareness, household penetration, consumer loyalty, retailer interest and overall company financial objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead cross functional teams including R&D, Packaging Design, Operations, Finance, Sales, etc. to commercialize new initiatives, starting with the business case rationale through customer selling materials and the consumer launch for both innovation and renovation projects
• Lead the Integrated Business Planning process with input from Sales, Operations and Finance.
• Project management lead on key margin enhancement cost savings projects.
• Identify key business drivers and opportunities based on competitive/category trends, track & report on business results using syndicated data, and provide forecasting support for financial planning.
• Advise and assist on the development and timely execution of Brand Plans/ leading agencies (PR, Digital, Social, Shopper and Consumer Promotions) to develop highly creative and cost-efficient campaigns.
• Assist in consumer insights development including key business questions and development of research studies in partnership with consumer insights and category insights teams.
• Assist with other projects, as needed.
• Manage Brand Budget and reporting

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 – 2 years consumer packaged goods marketing experience or other proven relevant experience.

• None

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
• Experience with AC Nielsen or IRI preferred
• Experience analyzing data & translating to recommendations
• Excellent creative instincts and comfort with visual design
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high paced, entrepreneurial work environment and meet business driven deadlines
• Strong bias for thoughtful action. Acts like an owner and can run independently.
• Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively.
• Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry.
