Base pay range

$62,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 1-3+ years' experience in YouTube channel management, digital content creation, and/or digital marketing
  • Have 1-3+ years' experience with content creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or other graphic design and video editing software
  • Be intimately familiar with YouTube and other video/media distribution platforms
  • Have exceptional writing/communications skills – especially in writing metadata
  • Be able to share a portfolio of recent creative content ideas (either via professional or personal work)
  • Have a great sense of organization, attention to detail, ability to act fast and think on their feet

C4-TR $62,000-$70,000 (0-2 years exp)

C-5 $70,000-$90,000 (2+ years)

The New York State Executive Chamber is looking for a Creative Associate to join our Digital Team. This group is responsible for managing and creating multimedia content for a variety of digital channels including, but not limited to social media, YouTube, email, SMS, website, etc. This position reports to our Director of Creative Strategy & Production.

This position with work closely with internal digital strategists and content creators to ensure the

seamless scheduling, programming, distribution, and reporting on performance of creative content.

Duties To Include

Participate in the creative development, technical implementation, and curation of online content for social media, YouTube, websites and related digital platforms.

Actively manage video/content production calendar programming calendar

Actively manage and participate in strategy development for group’s YouTube presence, including writing metadata, creating thumbnails, curating playlists, reporting on performance

Assist team’s general media production work (video, audio, graphic design), with potential to grow into more advanced production work

Collaborate with Director on special projects and initiatives, including industry research and data analysis

Follow best practices and style guidelines to produce high-quality and accurate work.

Follow agency policies and strategies for digital communications.

Note: this role will sometimes involve being on call to work after typical workday hours, including weekends
