Travel: Frequent travel required, including driving, flying, overnight stays

Salary: $160K to 185K per year.

Role Overview:

As the Director of Sales, you will be pivotal in driving our company’s strategic initiatives to meet both short-term profitability goals and long-term market objectives. You'll lead a talented regional sales team, foster key customer relationships, and strategize new business opportunities to expand our market footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor sales talent, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals, leveraging market insights and competitive analysis.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Revenue Management: Drive revenue and profitability for the region, setting pricing strategies and achieving financial targets.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to optimize operational efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends to adapt sales strategies and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Proven success in B2B technical sales with a strong understanding of the DC Power Industry.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with a track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex customer accounts.

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent travel and occasional exposure to varying weather conditions and work environments are required.
