You Are

UST is looking for QA Lead, the primary objective of the QA Lead is to lead the QA efforts of one or more products as well as manage technical risks throughout the project. The QA Lead is responsible to establish the QA processes within the team. QA Lead should mentor and supervise the QA analysts in the team. The individual will be working in a distributed project team between onsite and offshore. The individual must keep his/her manager well informed of QA status at regular intervals.

The Opportunity

  • Analyze product test requirements.
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases and test framework using automation tools like Cucumber, Selenium etc.
  • Perform functional, regression testing, support UAT, Pre-Go Live & Go-Live testing.
  • Provide expert support and guidance in niche areas of performance, stress, usability testing and test automation.
  • Review and provide feedback on test cases created by team members.
  • Conduct testing on all software products for applicable OS platforms utilizing systems analysis techniques and procedures.
  • Mentor test analysts and senior test analysts on testing related activities
  • Supervise test analysts and senior test analysts on testing related activities.
  • Coordinate with offshore (India) teams
  • Coordinate with the Development teams, managers and Business teams during the different phases of application development

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent.
  • 8+ Years hands on QA experience
  • CSTM/CSQA or equivalent certification desirable
  • Scrum-Agile certification desirable
  • Experience in one of scripting languages like Java, C#, Groovy Scripts etc
  • Experience in Automation scripting and tools
  • Good understanding of BDD, TDD methodologies
  • Experience in Maven, Jenkins, Groovy Scripts, REST_Assured
  • Good understanding of Agile-Scrum processes
  • Must have experience working on an onsite-offshore software development team
  • The successful candidate should demonstrate innovation, constant learning, self-motivation and effective team participation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to share knowledge, excellent listening skills and strong analytical skills.
  • The candidate must be able to work effectively under project and daily deadlines.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Missouri

Compensation Range: $71,000-$107,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
