About the Team: Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global Payroll & Benefits, the Payroll Clerk handles payroll entries, employee changes, and benefits administration to keep all data accurate in payroll and HR systems. They also serve as the go-to person for any payroll and benefits-related questions. Strong organizational skills and a customer-oriented mindset are essential.

- Make sure payroll entries for Canadian staff are processed on time and accurately, including new hires, status changes, terminations, and records of employment.
- Handle payroll tasks in HRIS (Workday).
- Keep our personnel database up-to-date by managing new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations in the payroll system (ADP WFN).
- Manage benefits like group insurance, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, clothing allowance, and more.
- Handle initial employee questions about payroll and benefits through the internal HR ticketing system.
- College degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is a plus.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with the full payroll cycle, especially with QC payroll processing.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Great organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of handling confidential information discreetly and professionally.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for building relationships.
