Summary

The Vice President of Business Integration will spearhead a team responsible for the strategic development, integration, and operation of our technology solutions within the airline, rail, and cruise line sectors. Reporting to the SVP Head of Product, this role demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, develop system designs, and create interface specifications. The VP of Business Integration will ensure quality control through rigorous evaluation, insight, and support of integration and IT applications and services.

  • Lead client engagements, including conducting on-site operations research to develop client service initiatives
  • Engage with clients to take detailed briefs and clarify project-specific requirements
  • Serve as an experienced operations research resource, offering problem resolution and documenting findings and alternative approaches
  • Assist in developing strategic applications to improve client services
  • Maintain close working relationships with internal and external clients
  • Act as the primary on-site client contact for Integration consulting projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and develop system designs and interface specifications
  • Ensure quality control through evaluation, insight, and support of integration and IT applications and services
  • Provide periodic project status updates to the SVP Head of Product
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to consistently meet client needs

Required Skills, Education And Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in business integrations and/or crew management & scheduling; minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role leading team members
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations research, computer science, mathematics, finance, or econometrics. A Master’s degree in a related field is desirable
  • Certifications: Professional certifications related to project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) are a plus
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong communicator with the ability to lead and manage professional teams, and establish robust working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Change Management: Expertise in managing change within an organization, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute integration strategies that align with the company's overall business goals and objectives
  • Business and Technical Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of business operations, processes, and technical solutions, including experience with API technologies and client interfaces
  • Operations Research: Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills to deliver effective solutions for clients and the team
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects from inception to completion, including budgeting, planning, and resource allocation
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Proficiency in evaluating, analyzing, and supporting integration and IT applications and services to ensure they meet quality and performance standards
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, work under pressure, and maintain high attention to detail
  • Interpersonal and Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours and as needed on nights and weekends unless otherwise specified.

Good faith annual salary range for this position is $150,000 - $175,000and is commensurate with experience.

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
