HR Business Partner

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team at Associated Materials! The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to management and employees, driving HR initiatives that support the company's goals and enhance overall employee experience. This role involves a mix of strategic HR planning, employee relations, talent management, and day-to-day HR operations tailored to a dynamic distribution environment.

As a key liaison between the HR department and the business units, the HRBP aims to integrate HR practices with business needs, driving organizational effectiveness. - Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives, particularly in areas such as workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention.
- Provide guidance to help structure teams and roles effectively to meet business needs and improve efficiency.
- Support career development initiatives, including performance management processes, succession planning, and employee development programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring that all cases are handled with confidentiality and in compliance with company policies.
- Coach managers and supervisors on effective employee management, including performance improvement, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Manage the performance review process, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Work with managers to identify performance gaps and develop action plans to address them, including training and development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback and professional growth, encouraging regular check-ins and career discussions between employees and managers.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records, including payroll, benefits, and compliance documentation.
- Champion a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company's values and promotes teamwork, integrity, and respect.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives to improve job satisfaction, reduce turnover, and enhance overall employee morale.
- BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations in a distribution setting.
- Proven experience conducting investigations and managing complex employee relations cases with a focus on fair and timely resolution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
