Human Resource Dimensions has been engaged to place a US General Manager for an esteemed leader in precision measurement technology, our client is expanding its footprint in the American market and is looking for a US General Manager to spearhead this venture. Harnessing our client’s expertise and industry reputation, they aspire to redefine the precision measuring equipment landscape with innovative solutions. If you're a forward-thinking leader with a knack for business strategy and sales acumen, this role is tailor-made for you.

An Overview

  • In the initial phase, you'll collaborate with us as an "Entrepreneur In Residence" as a Co-Founder to validate the business model and establish the foundation for the venture. This validation process will take place at our client’s headquarters in Germany.
  • You'll receive comprehensive training on our client’s products and solutions to equip you for success.
  • Upon successful validation, you'll receive a pre-seed investment to jumpstart the company.
  • As the US General Manager, you'll assume full ownership of the venture, tasked with assembling and leading a dynamic team, setting up operations, and driving business activities.
  • You'll enjoy the autonomy to shape the brand, product offerings, team dynamics, and strategic direction in alignment with your vision and objectives.

Your Profile

We're in search of a visionary US General Manager with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading product and/or engineering teams in a high-quality environment.
  • Engineering degree, preferably mechanical.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a relentless drive for success and a passion for fostering innovation.
  • Expertise in mechanical engineering and/or mechatronics, demonstrating proficiency in product development and design.
  • Strong Product Management skills, with the ability to seamlessly bridge the gap between product conceptualization and development.
  • Prior knowledge or experience in the Metrologic industry and/or quality assurance space is highly desirable.
