Job Summary:
The HR Director will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the HR strategy at
our client and its various locations. This position will oversee key HR functions, including
Leadership, Strategy, HR Operations, HR Technology, Compliance & Reporting, and
Talent Management. The HR Director will manage a team of 4 HR team members with
the potential to extend oversight to our secondary facility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Strategy:
-Help develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s
overall business objectives.
-Provide strategic guidance and support to managers and staff.
-Foster a positive and productive work environment.
2. HR Operations:
-Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
-Oversee benefits administration, analyze compensation strategies and
insights, and become familiar with the payroll processes.
-Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary
actions.
3. HR Technology:
-Manage and optimize HR technology systems to improve efficiency and
data management.
-Implement new HR technologies and ensure they are integrated
effectively across all departments.
-Train HR staff and employees on the use of HR technology systems.
4. Compliance & Reporting:
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and
regulations.
-Prepare and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and report to
senior management.
-Assist in workplace safety programs and initiatives.
5. Talent Management:
-Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to ensure a skilled
and motivated workforce.
-Implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills
and career progression.
-Conduct performance management and succession planning initiatives.

change initiatives. Ability to drive HR transformation and innovation.
● HR Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment
laws. Proficiency in managing benefits, compensation, and HR technology
systems.
● Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop
effective solutions to complex HR issues.
● Interpersonal Skills: High level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and maturity.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees, management,
and unions.
● Project Management: Strong project management skills. Ability to manage
multiple HR projects and priorities simultaneously.
● Compliance & Ethics: Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards
and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Vigilance in
monitoring and implementing compliance programs.
● Technology Proficiency: Expertise in HR information systems and technology.
Ability to leverage technology to improve HR processes and data management.
● Adaptability: Flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing business
environments and priorities. Ability to navigate and manage through ambiguity
and uncertainty.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related
field; Master’s degree preferred.
● Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a
leadership role.
● Proficiency in HR technology and systems. (Paycom, UKG, Workday, ADP, etc.)
● Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
● Preferred experience in the beverage distribution industry or a similar fast-paced
environment.
