Production Operations Manager - Las Vegas

The Factory Operations Manager will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of plant operations, including production, supply chains and logistics. This position will be in charge of providing direction to functional managers, offering professional expertise and monitoring performance to ensure that team and individual objectives are achieved within scheduled timeline and budgets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a safe, legally compliant workplace.
• Enforce compliance with all corporate policies and procedures.
• Communicate with the team managers for any potential issues and implement recommended changes
• Report any accident/incident or potential risk to direct report in time with appropriate count measures.

Quality and Regulatory

• Develop and prepare processes and reports to improve efficiency and Quality-approved output while reducing waste and other costs.
• Ensure every team to follow rules of GMP and other biz certificate of company with highest integrity.
• Lead audits for EH&S compliance /Quality/Local government regulatory.
• Develop and Lead product quality improvement programs.

People Management

• Partner with team managers to identify key training, critical experiences and developmental opportunities for individuals and teams.
• Elaborate personnel planning
• Provide coaching and mentoring and conduct evaluations of functional team managers.

Operational Management

• Manage and follow all the plant KPI’s related to operations: productivity/quality/EH&S.
• Improve throughput and other operation processes with the objective of reducing overall costs.
• Identify infrastructure requirements necessary to achieve exceptional product quality level/operational excellence as well as to meet local regulations.
• Management of changes on operational process/machineries/facility.
• Plan the investment needs for Plant Operations.
• Ensure all documents are filed and registered for compliance of internal and external policies and regulations.
• Manage and trace all preventive and corrective actions within the factory.
• Establish and implement team goals/objectives and procedures conferring with direct report/functional team manager and staff where necessary.
• Monitor functional team performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made and that corrective action is taken when necessary.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance work in the factory.
• Perform other duties as directed by line manager.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field or applicable work experience in food manufacturing.
• Minimum of 10 years in a production or plant management role for the business of food and HFF manufacturing.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience operating and/or supervising HFF production machineries (Capsule/Powder/tablet product manufacturing).
• Experience in building/design/retrofit/GMP for a facility.
• Familiarity with GMP and MFDS guidelines for food and HFF operations.
• Able to learn and adapt quickly.
• Judgement and decision making skills with the ability to consider the relative costs and benefits.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stay on schedule in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of flowcharts and process development & improvement.
• Able to inspire and generate consensus within a group to achieve a common goal.
• Demonstrate strong leadership of RCI for significant unplanned events.
