Position Overview

Origins is seeking an Associate, Global Social Media, TikTok to join our Global Social team in creating fun and engaging content and finding innovative ways to engage with our audience on additional social media platforms.

As part of the Global Marketing team shaping the future of Origins globally, this individual will be an expert on social trends & metrics, responsible for content creation on social platforms, with primary focus on TikTok. Our goal is to approach social media in a way that only Origins can—willing to change the game in skincare, redefining our approach to content, making our consumers the priority, and ultimately best representing Origins in the social space among our consumers (current and new).

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as one of the faces of Origins across Social platforms - must be comfortable speaking to camera.
• Move at the speed of culture to shoot and edit quickly within phone apps, and post content in real-time to meet the needs of relevant trends/brand events.
• Execute content creation needs including LoFi videos, TikTok shop videos, and more.
• Responsible for strategic content planning in collaboration in partnership with the Social team.
• Assist in the development of content for seasonal/calendar moments, trends, and supplemental evergreen content on global Instagram and TikTok accounts.
• Collaborate with creative operations and in-house content creator to execute the development of social assets.
• Support the continued evolution of the brand's social media strategy by executing with the social media team in updating social strategy guidelines.
• Work with the social media team in designing campaigns supporting product launches based on key business objective.
• Own communication with key cross-functional partnerships on timelines, feedback, and deliverables.
• Actively monitor and source UGC both manually and work with brand UGC management tool in tagging and categorizing for multi-platform use across markets.
• Co-lead community management efforts of owned brand pages including liking, commenting, and responding to DM’s.
• Work with social insights tools to keep a close eye on top performing content and trends.
• Partner with North America and Online marketing teams to support local promotions and .com needs.
  
  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of social media / community management experience, ideally in an agency or corporate environment. Prestige or beauty a plus.
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms (specifically Tik Tok and Instagram).
• Experience making TikToks/Reels (including editing, and knowledge of the TikTok platform).
• Experience with editing apps like CapCut, photoshop and/or Adobe tools.

• Must be comfortable speaking to camera and being face of content.
• Self-starter with keen ability to work on multiple projects with cross-functional partners and teams.
• Demonstrate ability for synthesizing results and turning insights to action.
• Must possess pro-active critical thinking skills and the ability to take initiative, anticipate next steps and offer recommendations and solutions.
• Consumer-obsessed, eager to engage with our audience on a daily basis with a fundamental interest in community and trends.
• Organized and highly detail-oriented, double-checking work with unprompted follow-through.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,500 to $90,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
