Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (40 hr/week)
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach the Recruitment Specialist, Benefits Assistant, and Training Coordinator.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment with HR goals and objectives.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and disciplinary actions as needed and make discipline recommendations to the VP of Human Resources.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- In collaboration with the VP of HR, maintains and update HR policies and procedures to reflect current best practices and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and standards.
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely and constructive feedback for all employees
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Develop and implement initiatives to promote continuous learning and career advancement.
- Support leadership development programs and continuous learning and career advancement efforts in collaboration with the VP of HR.
- Assist the VP of HR in implementing strategic HR initiatives such as diversity and inclusion programs and organizational culture development.
- Support the organization in managing change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and employee engagement.
- Takes other responsibilities as assigned.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- A proactive approach with a strong sense of initiative.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands.
