Sr. Director, Human Resources Operations


Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with 2 days remote after acclimation


The Sr. Director, Human Resources Operations, has a strategic role, overseeing core HR operations, ensuring compliance, and leading HR project management, including Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). Reporting directly to the EVP-Human Resources, this position will influence and drive HR strategies to attract, engage, support, and retain talent necessary for the company's success. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR operations, project management, and M&A integrations.


Responsibilities

  1. Oversee HR operational support processes and strategies, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including EE01 reporting and labor law postings.
  2. Maintain and update company Policies & Procedures and Employee Handbook, ensuring accuracy and adherence.
  3. Establish and monitor HR controls and processes across all HR departments.
  4. Stay informed on trends, legislative and regulatory issues affecting HR programs and ensure necessary adjustments are communicated and implemented.
  5. Track and report all ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) achievements and policy developments to the executive team.
  6. Provide training, troubleshooting, and support for relevant HR business processes.
  7. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and internal security and process controls.
  8. Develop and maintain HR standard operating procedures (SOP), SharePoint reporting, and HR Smartsheets.
  9. Collaborate with various HR teams to ensure accurate and effective HR analytics and reporting.
  10. Lead HR M&A diligence and integration for acquisitions, de novos, joint ventures, or other special projects.
  11. Develop and manage HR project plans, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery.
  12. Engage multiple stakeholders, driving initiatives to closure and ensuring ongoing viability.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; PHR/SPHR certification helpful.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, including employee relations and HRBP responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in project management and HR M&A integrations.
  • Expert knowledge of analytical reporting and HR compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence executives and staff.
  • Exceptional reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend solutions.
  • Strategic thinking, consulting, and process-oriented abilities.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team, demonstrating passion, optimism, and respect.
  • Proven ability to manage change and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
