Nesco Resource is hiring a Quality Engineer at their client in Waterbury CT. This is a direct hire opportunity with complete employment package.
Job Description
Quality Management activities related to manufacture of superconductive wire, including external provisions, internal and subcontracted processes, and customer application issues. Occasional travel for supplier and customer visits (less than 10% annually, possible international travel, passport will be needed)
Process Measurements & Analysis
Process improvements and updates to work instructions
Internal Audits per ISO-9001 & 14001
SPC Implementations
Non-Conformance Administration
Supplier Surveys & Audits
Customer Complaint Administration
Corrective Action System
Continuous Improvement of Quality Management practices.
Qualifications
B.S. Engineering with 2 Years in manufacturing setting.
Knowledge of ISO standards and methods
Experience and training in Lean, SPC, 6-Sigma, problem solving, and leadership
