Executive Director/VP Clinical Development

Our client, a rapidly growing biopharmaceutical company, is seeking an Executive Director/VP Clinical Development to join their team. Reporting to the CMO, this will lead Oncology programs across both early and late phase development.

You will be responsible for:

• Clinical development strategy and life cycle management
• Leading interactions with regulatory authorities and external partners
• Development of clinical trial protocols, trial data interpretation and review of relevant literature
• Delivering projects in line with associated deadlines and budgets
• Ensuring clinical activities are executed in line with applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Communication strategy
• Providing clinical input into relevant therapeutic/disease area scientific strategy
• Overseeing resource allocation and career development strategy for international team

Role Requirements

• MD
• Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience working with Phase I – III clinical trials
• Experience in Oncology clinical development strategy, clinical trial design and protocol development.
• In excess of 10 years’ experience in drug development.
• Oncology experience in an industry setting, lung cancer experience is advantageous
• Prior experience in the registration and commercialization of new drug products preferred.
• Excellent organizational communication and coordination skills.
