Strategic Partnerships Director
Position Summary:
Utilizes a deep understanding of hospital, physician and payer accountable care systems and the broader healthcare industry. Represents Lumeris' services and technology solutions by calling on healthcare providers and payers throughout a defined geographic region. Provides a consultative and solution-based sales approach by developing tailored approaches and complex solutions that can gain buy-in throughout large, heavily-matrixed organizations.
Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Researches, prospects, plans, and qualifies deals to grow assigned territory.
- Impacts assigned region and maintains relationships with key influencers in the region whether that be consultants, politicians, or anyone else that influences the C-Suite of our clients.
- Reaches out to healthcare influencers to develop and foster relationships with large integration delivery networks (IDNs), hospital systems, payer organizations, and physician practice groups.
- Ensures sales goals are met through the acquisition of new clients within designated geographic sales territory.
- Executes strategic sales business plan for market that will be used to achieve/exceed sales goal; revises plans and strategies as dictated by market changes, sales results and other factors.
- Maintains relationships with clients to expand Lumeris offerings and relationships.
- Sustains a comprehensive understanding of Lumeris solutions, including the process, methodology, technology, and services we provide and displays a deep understanding as to how they impact a payer or provider.
- Participates in relevant industry conferences and associations.
- Executes targeted campaigns around specific functionalities, services, and/or product enhancements.
- Maintains comprehensive understanding of healthcare marketplace applicable to Lumeris market.
- Travels to prospects and clients to meet key contacts and present solutions, facilitates meetings to manage and grow the sales pipeline.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 8+ years of relevant B2B sales experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- Healthcare industry experience
- Demonstrated experience working with and understanding accountable care organizations (ACO's), hospital systems, payers and other entities in the healthcare industry
- Excellent understanding healthcare delivery, reimbursement and managed care
- Strong healthcare system business acumen
- Experience with multi-level and lengthy sales cycles (6-12 months)
- Proven track record in executing sales plans
- Excellent consultative and solution sales skills
- Accomplished ability to have dialogue with executives to understand business priorities, and in a consultative manner, relate Lumeris solutions to client needs
- Strong understanding of healthcare industry and shared risk agreements
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience in a structured/regulated sales organization and ability to maintain strong ethics
- Must be located near a metropolitan airport with the ability to travel up to 50%
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in normal office working conditions.

The hiring range for this position is:
$133,200.00-$180,900.00
Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
