Our client seeks a personable, outgoing Controller to lead their accounting team. The ideal candidate is a true people-person and a natural leader who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

Controller Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions ensuring timely month end close.
• Review accounting and payroll transactions to ensure accurate calculations.
• Prepare account reconciliations to ensure accurate and compliant records.
• Collaborate with leadership team members to develop strategies and processes to meet goals.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements to promote efficiency and accuracy.
• Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
  
  

Controller Qualifications

• Must have automotive-related industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Finance, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including prior supervisory/leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting activities including AP, AR, and payroll.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Organized and deadline-driven with the ability to effectively manage competing tasks.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  
  

Salary: $120k-$150k (DOE)
