Data Analyst

One Federal Solution is seeking a talented and passionate Data Analyst to join our Chicago, IL team in support of our Federal Government client. The Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to uncover insights that will drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain physical and electronic files.
• Organize and manage case files in both physical and electronic formats.
• Review data for completeness and proper execution.
• Enter, review, and extract data from databases.
• Obtain additional information from other investigative agencies and databases.
• Process petitions, claims, and requests while reconciling inconsistencies.
• Gather information and organize investigative packages.
• Verify case files and maintain case tracking systems.
• Conduct and reconcile reports.
• Receive and distribute various documents, including court documents.
• Assist lead analysts or officials in obtaining and collecting all necessary documents and information to complete case files.
• Provide administrative information and assistance regarding cases to other investigative agencies, local law enforcement, U.S. Attorneys, other DOJ processing units, and higher headquarters.
• Extract data from agency databases for management and program reports.
• Perform word processing and data entry relevant to case documentation.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Undergraduate degree.
• Ability to review and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining case/project files in both paper and electronic mediums.
• Ability to enter and retrieve data from databases.
• Competence in preparing and formatting management reports.
• Skilled in manipulating, transferring, computing, and printing information.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
• Capability to prepare and correct reports and correspondence using word processing software.
