Job Details

As the National Sales Director, you will lead and inspire sales teams to achieve exceptional results and drive national sales performance. You'll set strategic objectives, manage a high-performing team, and oversee the execution of impactful sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Strategy Develop and execute sales objectives and strategies for territories, forecasting sales and profit goals.
  • Lead the Team Manage, coach, and support account managers to exceed revenue targets and foster new business development.
  • Monitor Performance Track and enhance the national sales team’s performance with key metrics and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with Leadership Partner with the VP of National Sales to create effective prospecting strategies and execute annual sales meetings.
  • Optimize Operations Oversee territory design, approve key operational aspects, and manage sales incentive programs.

Qualifications

  • Experience 10+ years in direct sales, preferably in automotive lubricants, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.
  • Leadership Demonstrated success in leading and coaching sales teams.
  • Skills Strong understanding of sales metrics, CRM software, and MS Excel.
  • Attributes Excellent analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a passion for market trends.
