Head of Communications

Soni's growing client is adding a Head of Communications to their team. We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in public company environments, capable of navigating a larger corporate scale and diverse stakeholders. The role requires expertise in legal, regulatory, and exchange interactions, and in developing consistent messaging for investor relations. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with disclosure regulations, supporting communication strategies to grow the shareholder base, managing the messaging framework, and coordinating investor relations events. Additionally, this role involves collaboration with marketing on digital campaigns and outreach efforts, and liaising with public relations contractors to expand influence.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience working with internal and external investor relations teams.
• Strong ability to engage with regulators (e.g., IIROC, or equivalents in the USA) and stock exchanges like TSX, TSXV, OTC, NASDAQ.
• Proficient in drafting and releasing press statements while maintaining consistent messaging.
• Experience collaborating with CEOs and CIOs on press releases and content development.
• Leadership experience

Compensation: $125,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
