Within the spirit of “Making People’s Dreams Come True”, this position is responsible for supporting the human resource function for compliance, onboarding/employment, records retention and employee relations. These duties are accomplished while delivering Raving Fans customer service to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Responsible for staffing, coaching, and supervising direct reports.
  • Annual budget preparation, monitoring and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and update the employee handbook.
  • Prepare EEO-1 reports.
  • EEO classification management and auditing.
  • Supervise the unemployment procedures and filings as needed.
  • Oversee onboarding process facilitating a seamless, engaging new-hire orientation experience.
  • Provide support to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Complete HR related projects in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Cultivate external relationships with other leaders of the organization and be available as a consistent resource regarding HR operations.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of human resource management experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
  • Must have strong working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
